Hydro-excavating is the process of moving or removing soil with pressurized water. An air conveyance or vacuum is then used to transfer the soil or debris to a debris tank. This allows for a less invasive and more accurate way to excavate soil and locate underground utilities.
Hydro-Excavation is quickly becoming the desired method for locating existing utilities in advance of the excavation crews entering the area.
