We will contact our applicants by email and or telephone to inform them of scheduled testing, which will take place at one of our training facilities.  Please make sure to follow all directions on the application and please verify that your email, phone number, and mailing address are correct before submitting.  We cannot be responsible for incorrect information entered into the application.

It is highly recommended to fill out your application on a computer or large tablet.  Small tablets and phones can limit the space available to see and read all information. Once successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from “centraloffice@local18training.com”.  Make sure to watch your spam/ junk email folder, as these sometimes get filtered there.

I understand the skilled trade of an operating engineer is a so-called “seasonal trade”, and that I could experience long periods of layoff due to weather and seasons.

I understand that many jobs are in remote areas which require my driving long distances.

I understand that driving to and attending training classes is my responsibility and that PROBLEMS ARE NOT AN EXCUSE, but only a reason.
