Miamisburg Training Site

The Miamisburg Training Site features a beautiful training facility sitting on 200+ acres. The administrative building, completed in 2008, has over 8300 square feet and consists of offices for staff, a break room, three classrooms, and a conference/classroom equipped with audio/visual systems. The shop has 6400 square feet of space, equipped with two large bays served by a 10 ton overhead crane equipped with remote controls. The shop also has ample storage space for oil and parts. The mezzanine level consists of open and closed storage areas with a waste oil furnace for supplemental heat. Exhaust ceiling fans and a “make-up” air unit allow fresh air in and carbon monoxide out. Exiting the shop, a 54-foot connector includes a classroom with immediate access to the 16,000 square foot all-weather training arena, complete with an exhaust system. The building is capable of handling numerous heavy equipment training exercises in various weather conditions. The grounds surrounding the facility enable field training for equipment such as loaders, dozers, backhoes, scrapers, excavators, and graders. To the North of the main building, there is a 60,000 sq. ft. crane yard that accommodates CCO certification testing along with clam-shell and pick and carry operations. Forklift practical exams and CDL maneuverability functions are also available
