This class is designed to prepare operators to meet the requirements of the newly enacted OSHA 1926.1400 law. Section 1926.1428 (c) requires that each signal person must: know and understand the type of signals used; be competent in the application of the type of signals used; have a basic understanding of equipment operation and limitations; know and understand the relevant requirements of OSHA 1926.1400, and demonstrate that he/she meets the requirements through an oral or written test, and through a practical test.
