Off Road Dump Truck
Off Road Dump Trucks are on nearly every construction project. Like other pieces of equipment, they can be made in a variety of sizes, to help meet whatever the need and the conditions of the task at hand. They are used to carry and transport large amounts of materials from one location to another on the job site, and to do it quickly and efficiently, even when the road (if there is one) is not the most ideal!
Haul trucks are off-highway, articulated or rigid dump trucks specifically engineered for use in high-production mining and heavy-duty construction environments.
These haul trucks have a two or three-axle design. Haul truck capacities range from 10 short tons to 100+ tons.
Quarry and construction operations are typically smaller than, say, a gold/copper mine, and require smaller trucks.
